Listening exercises for level 1 students 2010-1

Exercise 1: Phone messages

Instructions

1. Check in your dictionary the meaning of these words: front door, kitchen table, feed, walk, inside, outside, pick up, get in, arrive, help out, check, mail.

You can use this online dictionary for the meaning of the word in Spanish:

3. Take a look at the pictures.

4. Read each question before playing the video.

5. Play the video and choose the correct answer.

6. Check how many correct answers you had.

Exercise 2: Daily routines

In this link you can find a short exercise where you have to listen to somebody's daily routine and at the end choose the picture that answers a question. The link has the option to look at the script of the audio.

Go to "Curso de Aprendizaje"
3. Once there, in the middle of the page you will find "curso de iniciación". There you will find an icon that says "Haz clic aquí y selecciona la lección que quieres consultar" Clic on it. From the list select "Lección 1"

4. Once in there, read, listen and do the exercises from that lesson.

Computers practice for November 1rst

Dear students:

This is the activity planned for today's class.

1. Go to www.britishcouncil.org/kids
2. On the left, click on Listen to a song
3. On the right go to Not so easy songs
4. On the left, click on One small world
5. Click on Click here to listen to the song
6. When loading finishes click on START
7. Write in your notebook all the cities you listen to in one column, then in another one, write the name of the country where the city is, and finally the language they speak.
